Parcel from TW !

Ok really quick one here. Finally got my lil pick-me-up in the midst of the crazy week. (which is not over yet and will carry on to the next) But i didn’t quite expect it to come in the form of…

a cute little box. haha, i thought it would just be a bulky boring brown envelope. So anyway i had to haul it to sch and back.

Ok this is thanks to S. who unfortunately ended up helping me cover some of the exhorbitant air mail cost. I think he’ll never dare to joke about helping me buy stuff again HAHA.

But still it made me a happy girl. Feels like an early birthday present to myself becos i had to “unwrap” it lols. You don’t need to know the exact content of the package cos it won’t interest you anyway. It’s all vanity stuff lar.

Yup, anyway i lost my phone. AGAIN. So ppl pls msg for fun or anything also can becos i lost my whole contact list and everytime a call or msg comes in nowadays i have to guess who is it.

Ok back to work.

Not the best time

Highly DISORIENTED, STRESSED and MS-y. Gets irritated at the slightest thing/certain ppl and things. Worst combination ever.

Remind me again why i want to put myself through a 5 project sem.

The weirdest things that happened this week…

involved me chasing after lei’s runaway dog 2 storeys down from our floor, cornering it, leashing it and dragging it upstairs. at about 1+am on friday night.

The little rascal got us in quite a bit of fluster, peeing all over her house so we had to clean up after him. AND refusing to stay locked up at the balcony by barking in the middle of the night. AND growling and trying to bite when you do things that he doesn’t like. When really, he’ve only got 2 teeth left.

But still, he’s a poor abandoned old fella (10 years old). He was tied to a police post and got caught in the rain overnight.

He is surprisingly fast for his age though. which explains the chasing.

Runaway dog aside, i went for a haircut and did treatment for my poor damaged tresses at a new hair salon near my house yesterday. The hair cut was normal ($3.80 only ! promo for new opening haha) but when it came to the treatment, it felt abit funny.

They wore this big puffy grey bag around my head and started the steaming. So i sat there with a big puffed up thing on my head and two holes sprouting out streams of steam. Super cartoon. Anyway it felt like sauna on my head.

As if that does not make me the main point of attraction for the salon, the WHOLE salon blacked out without warning. becos of the faulty plug connnected to the steam dispenser.

Since i didn’t get to bake today =(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

This is my to-do list, sequence in order of what i want to make most. I’m currently plagued by a VERY, VERY STRONG COMPULSION to bake. aaarghh. And since i can’t bake now, I went to get my research done.

1. Matcha cookies

No it’s not like i’m very free. You know when you’re hit by compulsion to do something ? I’m the kind of person who have to do it right here, right now. It’s a torture not being able to do. =(

And one problem is who is going to help me clear all the stuff i bake LOLS. Anyway if you don’t already know, i bake for the process, not for the end product. So, i don’t usually eat a lot of what i bake.

Must be all that studying (ok it’s not as much as it sounds) bahhhhhhhh.

Just caught Slumdog Millionaire at PS. and i thought it was one of the better movies i’ve caught in quite a while. Really interesting storyplot, was indeed an enjoyable 2 hours. Makes you wonder about things you go through in life hmm…and i also wonder if situation in India is really that bad or they exaggerated it. Anyway u guys shld definitely catch it 🙂

Next week’s gonna be a busy one, so i better try to catch up on some stuff over the weekend ! But there’s still more movies i wanna catch like He’s just not that into you and The curious case of benjamin button…I think i’ll do them online, can save some money lols.

On another totally irrelevant note, Watsons’ keep having sales and tempting me to buy more stuff 😦

25 random things

Ok since i have been tagged and it’s too public on FB, i shall do it here heh.

1. I always eat my oreo by layers, the top, the cream then the bottom. It taste better that way to me.

2. I have OCD, always have to do something several times otherwise i feel like something bad would happen.

3. I’m fast becoming a skincare product junkie, all thanks to CC.

4. Bathe very late, like 12am-2am kind of late.

5. Need a whole hour to prepare before going out. (which explains why i’m always late ? haha)

6. Not fond of speaking up in class, only do that when i HAVE to.

7. Have been trying to grow my hair long FOREVER, but it never reaches my desired length.

8. I am a BIG fan of cardigans, can’t do without them. Might have close to 10 in my wardrobe.

9. Very critical about the taste of food sometimes (friends can verify haha)

10. Can survive on 3-4 hours of slp per day if i have to.

11. Extremely bad with directions. (one reason i’m putting off learning driving)

12. Have not watched any scary movies for the longest time cos it feels like a torture session

13. Very afraid of lizards, flying cockroaches and ‘beetles’.

14. Wearing specs gives me a neckache, only wear them when i’m late or my eyes are in terrible need for a break. ok i wear contacts even at home.

15. Wants to keep my hair brown forever. haha.

16. Needs to organise the stuff in my room once every two/three weeks. otherwise everything will be in a terrible mess.

17. Gotten so drunk i puked 10+ times over. and one more time in the morning. (eww) ok i fall down a lot when i’m drunk too. =x

18. Have this constant fear of awkwardness (of running out of things to say) when interacting with new people.

19. Thinks that firework are beautiful but gives me a nostalgic feeling cos they don’t last.

20. Loves the smell of rain.

21. Feels that family-oriented drama/movies are more touching than relationship-oriented ones.

22. Have a soft spot for piggy stuff. (ok NOT the real thing though)

23. Likes to wear my eyeliner thick and black

24. Covered shoes ALWAYS give me blisters/abrasion so i hardly buy/wear them.

25. Don’t like eating alone outside, feels kind of sad and the food doesn’t taste half as good.
