Because i haven’t updated in 3 weeks, and because i still don’t have much to share, i shall share what i have bought and received recently, so bear with me

Been a crazy CRAZY week settling projects and what nots, but at least we got pass some of them. Have got a huge essay coming up so i guess that spells more work to be done…

On another note, it’re really nice to have a close friend stay just beside you. So you can supper at night and talk crap and share troubles/feelings and watch funny videos and laugh ur heads off in the wee hours of the night. Keeps you sane in times like this

And for saying you’ll bring me to nice places you’ve been, that’s really sweet. Gosh i hope this didn’t sound too les hahaha. Anyway if you’re reading this, thanks girl, love ya *hugs* !

Attending my cousin’s wedding lunch on sunday made me realised i ain’t that young anymore. darn.

Reality Check.

Missing my loooong brown locks. I’m just not a short, black hair kindda girl. boo. Anyway i tracked back and realised the last time i got a dye job was ard the start of december 2008. That is like, ard 8-9 mths ago?

I feel stupid looking at my readings and not understanding what the lines and pages of words are all abt. Makes me feel retarded and unmotivated.

Shall make a trip to the library to return my books…since it’s so hard to sit down and concentrate anyway.

First week of school makes me feel OLD. But timetable this sem seems to be good, so no complains abt that.

Where are my cookies ??

If there’s one addiction i can’t get off, it’s this. I succumbed today and offically become one in the sea of rebonded heads. again. The free-from-bad-hair-day mornings and low maintenance hair is hard to resist.

The 3 hours there was a breeze though, cos i had my book, phone and food with me. So i kept myself pretty occupied haha. Am loving this book, ‘Eat, Love & Pray’. What can i say? It’s just TOTALLY my kind of book.

Heading to ubin to cycle tomorrow. Everybody’s scaring me about cycling at ubin. Hopefully everything will be fine and we’ll all have fun I don’t rmb ever being there, much less cycling there before…so it’s gonna be an adventure of sorts tml !

What happen last week, or last last week, jumbled up:

Seletar reservior at night is really peaceful and nice. Pity the place’s not that accessible. Love sitting by the breakwater…reminds me of east coast, just quieter. Rochor chilled tau huay was good.

Minds cafe was quite fun, but i’m starting to feel old there among the kids. Think we can’t even overscream them now haha. We must rent the BIG Taboo for christmas party this year ! It’s just too fun

AND The cookie museum has the MOST AMAZING cookie flavours. They had local ones like nasi lemak, laksa, ikan bilis and of cos the more ‘normal’ ones like yogurt and berries, ocha, rose and something. Of cos my favourite’s gotta be the rose one ! That goes without saying huh. Too bad they’re really pricey, if not i would have gotten one. Sooooo yummmmmmmyyy.

Ok i kept typing and deleting at this point. Which means there are things i don’t really know if i shld type down here. Anyway what i’ve realised is that i’d much, MUCH prefer going out with a small grp of people as compared to a large one. Unless i’m comfortable with all the ppl in the big grp, that is.

And i can’t believe work is ending in 12 days. Dunnoe what to feel about it.

Ok really quick one here. Finally got my lil pick-me-up in the midst of the crazy week. (which is not over yet and will carry on to the next) But i didn’t quite expect it to come in the form of…

a cute little box. haha, i thought it would just be a bulky boring brown envelope. So anyway i had to haul it to sch and back.

Ok this is thanks to S. who unfortunately ended up helping me cover some of the exhorbitant air mail cost. I think he’ll never dare to joke about helping me buy stuff again HAHA.

But still it made me a happy girl. Feels like an early birthday present to myself becos i had to “unwrap” it lols. You don’t need to know the exact content of the package cos it won’t interest you anyway. It’s all vanity stuff lar.

Yup, anyway i lost my phone. AGAIN. So ppl pls msg for fun or anything also can becos i lost my whole contact list and everytime a call or msg comes in nowadays i have to guess who is it.

Ok back to work.

First day of school was nothing short of tiring. and this is an exception becos first week of sch is supposed to be slack as usual. I guess the 10am-9pm schedule is really draining.

So i shall reward myself with a mask. HAHA. all my masks smells soooooo good.  The apple one i have on my face smells like zappel. The red wine one smells like grapes. The rose one smells like crabtree and evelyn’s rosewater (i will SO get more of this). But i forgot how the lavender’s one smells like. Ok i have digressed, let’s go back to the topic.

Anyway it has always been a little tradition of mine to dress up a bit (Note: not OVERdress) for the first day of sch. I guess cos it signifies a new start and i want to start it off right. To do that i must first feel good about myself. So i put on my new pair of shoes for that boost of confidence, knowing full well that i WILL REGRET this vain decision a few hours later.

I also learnt today that it really is the shoes that make OR break an outfit. You can be wearing the nicest dress but with flip flops, you look like crap. Anyhow, i’ll still be wearing my comfty flats to sch tml. Along with that, tees, shorts and a makeup-less face. The tradition only takes effect for a day, and that is the FIRST day. Lols.

Super happy to be receiving money for my txtbks today though. And all of a sudden, i feel a lil bit richer. Hmm but i do hope that people didn’t buy any unneccessary stuff from me though. Afterall, it’s the buyer’s responsibility to check before purchasing, no ?

AND guess what. I actually forgot to keep the money i received at one point in time, and the buyer had to call me back. What a silly muddlehead i am. But luckily, there still exist nice and honest people ard.

I think the one month plus nua break has made me forgotten how fast-paced school life can get.

Adjust, ting, adjust.

That’s it. I’m going to start losing weight. I can’t put it/brush it off anymore. I’m not going to remain fat forever. gah. No, this is not an on-a-whim-of-moment thing. I’m particularly inspired after looking at old pics (lei wld noe abt this) and reading a blog today.

Might start to cut down on carbs for a start…the rice the noodles the potato the bread the cakes the cookies the what else is there ? But i love potato so =( and i might stop baking so often aldry.

And i need an exercise buddy lar…so hard to find one nowadays. I wld want to go swimming/gyming but i really don’t like to do this alone. Any takers ?

No more late night snacks too…this might be the HARDEST part. Because i stay up late all the time ! And when i’m stressed out/bored i tend to snack A LOT.

Anyway, lo and behold ! My stash of masks.

Started off the year with a mask frenzy and a deep fried platter from manhattan. Doesn’t seem to go eh ?

And it’s all cozycot’s fault. But i am really stocking up on my masks now. They should be able to last me for 2 and a half months, if i mask religiously for twice a week. Do your maths. Let’s see what it will do for my complexion.

So girls, if you all need mask, i can lead you to the cheapest deals for the best masks LOLS.

Met up with H and F for lunch at The Central today. Manhattan is my choice. The giant fried platter is theirs. When i saw the platter being served, my immediate thought was why on earth did i agree to share in the first place. Guys. What’s with them and fried stuff ?

H was really nice cos he picked us up at bb and sent us back. I can easily see how pw got used to the comfort of private transport.

It’s been a long time since i last met H. And next sem will be the last we share together. It was fun meeting up with them. But i bet they had more fun laughing at me. -_-

Admittedly, i think i’m really frivolous when i’m put beside them. I just can’t seem to talk abt serious stuff. And when they do, i space out for a while. haha, this, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call selective attention.

Anyway, i saw this on somebody’s msn nick today.

And the truth in it struck a chord within me. Then, I turned it around and now it reads: for fear you’d be alone you don’t do things that are you. that is what you truely want.

Life’s too short for regrets. I will not let this fear hold me back this year, not anymore.

from china ! and my bro is back haha. woke up super early on sat to fetch him from the airport with mum and dad. my cam’s back too, so i can start snapping away. Went out later on with lei, ended up getting a hair trim and eyebrow plucked. It’s a no-shopping-self-grooming day for me…shld be getting a dye job later this week. The price of vanity, tsk.

We tried out this new taiwanese dessert place after dinner. It looks like our usual ice-kachang, but actually taste pretty different. They call their ice ’slice’, which i didn’t quite get but nvm. Thing is, the ice were so so soft it was like (using their exact words) ‘winter in your mouth’.

Haha sounds bit awkward but yeah the texture was nice, unlike coarse ice, this one has a icy light feathery touch to it. Was like ice-cream, just lighter in texture. Special. Next time i’ll go back to try their matcha one.

Lei and her pretty long tresses ! I think i will nv bear to spend on hair extension so i won’t ever have long hair that reaches to my waist =( Anyway, her ice is called ‘Breakfast in Bed’ Heh, sounds a lil kinky to me LOLS.

The way to longer, beautiful lashes ! haha i shld so build on my lashes collection.

Anyway, can’t believe i made a trip to the library just now and didn’t even manage to find one book that interest me. So i return empty-handed…nvm shall wait for yee to lend me hers haha. I can really do with some novels now.
